about me.

Hi there :)

I’m Christina P., a penniless but optimistic undergrad new graduate (!) from the Midwest trekking through college in the East. I’m Chinese-American, in love with daffodils, and studying economics/statistics/psychology in hopes of becoming a management and/or non-profit consultant will be entering the real world (finally) and the management consulting industry in just a couple of months.

School takes Work will take up 99.9% of my life, but most of the remaining 0.1% is devoted to food in some way: eating it, cooking it, photographing it, dreaming about it…and although I seem destined to become remain a corporate slave of some sort, my not-so-secret fantasy is to become Alton Brown’s apprentice…and open a diner and restaurant someday. I started this blog mainly as an excuse to spend more time eating, cooking, and taking photos, and also as a perfect way to share my food thoughts and experiences with old and new friends  :) I’m just starting out as a wannabe chef, restaurant reviewer, and food photographer, so feedback, especially any constructive criticism, is always appreciated! Leave a comment or feel free to contact me by email: christinapzhou[at]gmail[dot]com

Thanks for visiting, and please enjoy!

[Yep, I’m the 2nd worst artist in my household, but hey, I try. I don’t think it’s that terrible, but in case you can’t tell what they’re supposed to be, it’s rice + sushi, two of my favorite foods. Kinda looks more like noodles + sushi actually…but it works since I like noodles better than rice anyway :P]

P.S. In case you were wondering, I take all photos with my Canon Rebel XS with Pentax 55mm 1.8 manual focus lens or kit lensor my very low-qual but convenient (and far less obnoxious) Blackberry camera phone.
