Amuse bouche: squid noodles w/nuoc cham & crispy garlic. Great texture, unanimously voted best course. Sadly no photo (too busy chowing).
Sea scallop w/summer squash, red onion & cilantro slaw and tomatillo sauce. Delicious flavor and texture.
Goat w/ porage of carrot. JF liked the goat, we all loved the carrot.
Skirt steak au poivre w/simmons, escarole, oxtail, red wine ragout. Too sweet for JF. MiaoMiao and CP liked.
Sour milk panna cotta w/granola and banana puree. Good panna cotta flavor but could have been a bit more firm.
2002 Valentin ZusslinĀ Riesling ‘Clos Liebenberg’ from Alsace. Felt special for getting the last bottle.
Delicious roasted fish w/cockles & razor clams and pea shoot dashi not pictured (again, just couldn’t wait to start eating). Nice broth ( too peppery for JF)
