apple picking (again).

JH and I went on the annual apple picking trip again!

Key differences from last time:

1. Bus got lost, took 2 hours to get there instead of 45 min…so only 1.5 hrs to pick and eat. Turned out to be enough time :)

2. End of season so much more active apple picking, i.e. precarious ladder climbing, tossing and catching of (very hard!) Empire and Spencer apples

3. Much more goal-driven - heavy focus on getting our half-dozen PLAIN apple cider donuts (above) at the end of the afternoon (we didn’t care much for the cinnamon sugar ones last time), all gobbled down while still hot and fresh. MMM.
